Jeff Witten has been a personal injury lawyer since 1992. Jeff has conducted trials at all levels of court in British Columbia and has handled the full range of auto injury claims from whiplash cases to amputations, paraplegia and catastrophic brain injury. Jeff is passionate about his work and has earned a reputation for obtaining large awards on behalf of his clients (during 2006-2007 Jeff settled three cases where the awards were in excess of $1,000,000*). Jeff Witten is experienced in the handling of serious auto injury cases and has worked closely over the years with many of the leading medical specialists in British Columbia.

Jeff Witten represents clients from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds and makes every effort to ensure that McComb Witten is sensitive to the cultural and linguistic needs of its clients. Jeff Witten believes clear communication is the key to effective legal strategy. He approaches each case by first ensuring that he fully understands his client's needs and goals. Jeff Witten earned his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1990. After being called to the BC Bar in May 1991, Jeff became interested in personal injury law after gaining experience doing ICBC defense work and general civil litigation. In early 1995, Jeff Witten decided to restrict his practice to representing only car accident victims.

In May 1996, Jeff joined Garry McComb and Michael Murphy to form Murphy McComb Witten, a personal injury law firm whose entire practice was restricted to representing car accident victims. This firm was founded on the principles of providing a high level of service to clients and obtaining excellent results. These principles continue to be adhered to by Jeff Witten and Garry McComb at McComb Witten.

Jeff Witten is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association. Jeff has also been an active member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. Since 1996 Jeff has held a variety of executive positions including President (2005-2006). Jeff has also lectured at TLABC educational seminars.

Jeff lives with his family in Vancouver and has served on the boards of various local charities including Camp Hatikvah (a children's summer camp) and Shalom BC (an immigrant assistance group). Jeff has also lectured on the subject of ICBC injury claims for SUCCESS (Asian Immigrant Services Society), the North Shore Multicultural Society, and the Immigrant Services Society of BC.
